Hello, feline friends! I’m Cookie Cat, a handsome domestic short haired male, celebrating four wonderful years of life since my birthday on January 26th, 2020. Weighing in at a sleek 8 pounds, I’m the purrfect blend of charm and charisma! I am a very curious boy and love to follow my humans around. The other thing I love more that attention is food! I will chow down on my meals in no time. I get along with laid back cats, but would do best as our one and only. Did I mention that I love neck scratches too?
One thing to note about me is that I’m diabetic, but fear not! I’m a pro when it comes to insulin shots and take them like a champ. With proper care and attention, I’m sure to thrive and live life to the fullest. Another unique trait of mine is my talkative nature – I’m not afraid to voice my opinions and share my thoughts with those around me. I hope I sound like a good fit for your family!
FIV is an immunodeficiency virus that is minimally contagious. The only way it is spread is through deep tissue bites and through mating. During my time on the streets I contracted FIV, but right now I’m doing just fine. FIV can cause slower healing when a cat is sick or injured, but otherwise doesn’t have much impact on a cat’s life.
